Enrica ~ welcome to Subtack, and what a way to start! Thank you for putting together this wonderful menu. I'm so pleased that my mamma's calamari recipe is part of it. I will be sharing your post with my readers. Un abbraccio xx
Sally, the recipe is in the downloadable menu in this post. Click on the box that says 'Feast of the Seven Fishes ~ Download' at the bottom of the post.
Have to say, being Italian American definitely beats being Scandinavian American. Our Christmas Eve was always fruit soup (imagine a warmed-up maple syrup with prunes and dates floating around in it), lefse (a cold crepe made out of potatoes), and lutefisk (similar to baccala, but cured in lye). I loved my Scandi nanna, but I would have rather had a dinner from an Italian nonna for sure. Thanks for a wonderful post!
Hi! I signed up to get the recipe and article where you showed a picture of an incredible pata. Now I can't find the article or picture or recipe. Can you help?I saw the picture 2 or weeks ago and then I paid and signed up!Can you help?i think I remember the pasta as being rigatoni, a beautiful good looking dish of pasta and tomato sauce.
You crack me up 🤣. Well in Scandinavia your Christmas Eve was a pure sacrifice day 😅
